Just quick re back to the John Ward Anderson’s words at his report for the Washington Post Foreign Service. If the European governments are being a major promoter or supporter of the Kyoto pact, which attempts to counter trends that are
warming the Earth’s climate, then does the United States and some developing countries have found withheld support from the pact, saying it is likely to harm economic growth and is based on inconclusive science?

The Wall Street Journal’s Eco:nomics conference at Santa Barbara has started! Corporate leaders and economists has focused onto the cumulative and tiny importance of Think green. “Climate change is a fundamental economic issue,” said Mindy Lubber, president of the Ceres coalition of investment funds .It is well known that Ceres represents $5 trillion in shareholder value, including such powerhouses as California’s and New York’s state employee pension funds

“The risks of climate change have turned from a threat to reality impacting the conflict in Darfur, migration from flood-prone Bangladesh and hopes for stability in the Middle East“. These are some of the main topics from the new EU report on climate changes. As climate change has become “a threat multiplier which exacerbates existing trends, tensions and instability,” the discussions were focused on the global hot topic at the European summit in Brussels on March 13-14. Some of the main treats pointed were “reduction of arable land, widespread shortage of water, diminishing food and fish stocks, increased flooding and prolonged droughts.”

World Meteorological Day is coming! March 23rd he World Meteorological Organization, its 188 Members and the worldwide meteorological community celebrate World Meteorological Day every year! March 23rd commemorates the entry into force in 1950,when the WMO Convention creating the Organization.In 1951, World Meteorological Organization was designated a specialized agency of the United Nations System.
